A place to feel more like yourself

You've gotten pretty good at doing life. But how much of it feels like you?

You show up. You take care of things. You do what needs to be done. And from the outside, life might look pretty good.

But when you're so used to meeting expectations, keeping things together, and making sure everyone else is okay, it's easy to forget to check in with yourself.

What do you want? What do you need? And how much of the life you're living actually feels like your own?

Maybe it's time to sit with that.

01

The Capable Achiever

“If I can meet the goal, maybe I will find my peace.”

You follow the North Star. Even if you don't reach it, you know you'll get somewhere closer.

You strive for 100%. And that determination has helped you accomplish great things—a successful career, a beautiful home, a family, or other goals you've worked hard to achieve.

But somewhere along the way, striving has become the only way you know how to exist.

Even when you've given 95%, it doesn't feel good enough. And on the rare occasions when you do reach 100% or beyond, the satisfaction doesn't last very long.

You feel exhausted, yet you keep pushing yourself, hoping that one day you'll finally feel at peace.

The Responsible People-Pleaser

“If I can make everyone happy, maybe I will find my peace.”

You're the one who holds everyone together.

Your deep empathy and sensitivity allow you to notice other people's emotional needs, and you intuitively find ways to meet them.

People count on you. They depend on you. And you genuinely enjoy being there for them.

But you have a hard time offering yourself the same care you so naturally give to others.

Setting boundaries can feel like a nightmare. You find yourself wondering what you really want and who you are outside of everyone else's expectations.

You want to show up more honestly and authentically, but the fear of disappointing people or being left alone keeps pulling you back into familiar patterns.

The Relentless Overthinker

“If I can solve the problem, maybe I will find my peace.”

Your mind is constantly working to identify, strategize, and solve problems.

You spend hours researching, planning, and thinking through activities, projects, decisions, or even the best deals.

And sometimes, all that thinking pays off.

But many of your ideas and aspirations never make it out of your head.

The more you contemplate, the harder it becomes to take action. And when you feel stuck, you do what you've always done: think, research, and plan some more.

You keep searching for the perfect solution, hoping that once you've figured everything out, you can finally relax.

The Person at a Crossroads

“If I can just keep holding on, maybe I will find my peace.”

You don’t give up on things easily.

When relationships become difficult, or life doesn't go the way you expected, you keep showing up. You try to understand, work things out, and give things a second chance.

And sometimes, that persistence is a beautiful thing.

But sometimes, you've spent so much energy holding everything together that you've lost touch with yourself along the way.

Maybe you're in a relationship that no longer feels right. Maybe you're navigating a breakup, divorce, co-parenting, or another major life transition.

You've spent so long trying to make things work that you're not sure what you actually want anymore.

Maybe you recognize yourself in more than one.

You don't have to fit neatly into a category to begin.

A DIFFERENT POSSIBILITY

And now you're beginning to wonder:

What would it look like to build a life that doesn't require you to keep abandoning yourself?

What If There's Another Way?

Maybe you don't have to stop being ambitious, caring, thoughtful, or resilient.

Those qualities have helped you become who you are.

But what if you didn't have to rely on them so heavily just to feel okay?

What if you could work toward your goals without constantly pushing yourself? Care for others without abandoning yourself? Think things through without getting stuck? Face challenges without losing sight of your own life?

You don't have to figure it all out today.

Sometimes, it starts with taking a breath, reconnecting with yourself, and practicing showing up just 5% differently.

You get to be a person here, not a project.

Ways to work together

Support that meets you where you are.

There’s no pressure to know which path fits. We can sort that out together in a free consult.

01 / THERAPY

A space to understand the pattern.

Individual therapy for overthinkers, perfectionists, people-pleasers, and those navigating anxiety, depression, trauma, or relationship challenges.

Together, we'll explore the patterns that have shaped you, develop a more compassionate relationship with yourself, and practice responding differently when life gets difficult.

You don't have to become less sensitive or less caring to build healthier boundaries. You can learn to care for yourself, too.

02 / COACHING

Practice Showing Up 5% Differently.

Coaching for men who are tired of getting stuck in their heads and ready to take meaningful action.

We focus on turning insight into small, practical steps. Through reflection, emotional awareness, goal-setting, and accountability, we'll work on building habits, navigating challenges, and making choices that reflect the person you want to become.

You don't need a perfect plan. Sometimes you just need your next 5%.

A note from Chiwoo

You get to be a person here, not a project.

Hi, I'm Chiwoo. I'm a therapist, a recovering overthinker, and someone who knows what it's like to spend too much time trying to get everything right.

Over the years, I've learned that understanding ourselves is valuable, but insight alone doesn't always lead to change.

Some of the most meaningful growth in my own life has come from practicing surprisingly simple things: taking a breath when I'm overwhelmed, learning to tolerate the discomfort of setting boundaries, and taking small steps even when I feel uncertain.

These things sound simple. But practicing them when life gets complicated is where the real work happens. That's also how I approach my work with clients.

I believe in creating a space where you can feel understood without judgment, explore the patterns that have shaped you, and gradually build confidence in your ability to respond differently.

We don't have to figure everything out at once. Sometimes we start with five seconds of space.

Connection first. Solution second.

What happens next

A simple place to begin.

Getting started can feel like one more decision to get right. Here’s what the first conversation is for.

01

Reach out.

Send a short note requesting a free 15-minute consult. You can keep it to your name and the best way to reach you.

02

Talk it through.

Tell me what brought you here, ask your questions, and hear more about the options and practical details.

03

Choose a next step.

We’ll consider fit, availability, and what kind of support makes sense. You can take time to decide.

What if I don't know whether therapy or coaching fits?

That’s a good reason to start with a consult. We can talk about what you’re hoping for, how therapy and coaching differ, and what is currently available. You do not have to decide before reaching out.

Can I meet with you online?

Individual therapy is offered virtually for clients in California, Florida, Missouri, and Kansas. We can discuss location, format, and availability before scheduling. Other services may have different requirements.

Do I need to share my whole story on the first call?

No. The consult is a brief conversation about what you’re looking for and whether working together may fit. You can share more at your own pace.
